📖 The Library Quest: Bringing the Future to Czech Librarians 🎮

Once upon a time (okay, in 2020), a grand mission was set: bring the new Concept of Library Development (2021–2027) to librarians across the Czech Republic. My team had a Ministry of Culture buff in the form of a grant, and I took on the role of coordinator—basically the party leader in this epic quest.

First challenge? Translating the official, bureaucratic jargon into something readable without losing its depth—kind of like turning an old-school manual into a user-friendly game tutorial. Then came the fancy brochure and website, which needed actual content to be more than just pretty pixels.

My role? Coordinating everything. Text rewrites, proofreading, graphics, budget management, web design, site content, marketing, and—finally—distributing the whole thing to libraries by the end of 2020.

But the journey didn’t end there! In 2021, we kept pushing to make Czech libraries more modern and inspiring, and I even created a video series where experts shared wisdom on topics like library PR, video creation, mental well-being, and multi-source financing.

The website is still live—though it’s had a few patches and updates since then. Mission accomplished? Maybe. But like any good live-service game, the work is never truly done.
